Translating for the life sciences sector
Hello everyone. Let’s start by saying that I hope everyone is safe and taking care of themselves. COVID-19 has affected our lives too, along with the lives of millions of people around the globe, both on a personal and on a professional level. First of all, conferences are postponed or cancelled, which of course makes sense, but has left us, interpreters, among other professionals, with more free time than one could have expected.
I decided therefore to use this opportunity to talk about something that I has been on my mind for quite some time. Interpretit is a small, boutique agency. We mainly specialize in three sectors, namely in legal and financial translation, in transcreation and translation for the visual arts sector and last but not least in medical, pharmaceutical and health marketing translation.
Our life sciences team consists of translators and proofreaders with background in medicine, science and linguistics in order to make sure that the translated text will transfer your message in the best possible way. We understand the challenges the pharma sector faces along with its special needs/requirements and we are here to help you overcome them and let you focus on what you do best; help patients and people around the globe thrive and live their lives to the fullest. The rest we can take care of.
Our clients include pharmaceutical companies, health marketing agencies and biotechnology companies.
We work in close collaboration with our clients in order to help them build and continue to develop their brands for both English speaking and other audiences. We can support the launch of both prescription and over-the-counter products based on our experience in science, healthcare issues, clinical practice and wellness.
Apart from translation we also offer the following services:
- Video subtitling
- text editing
We always deliver our projects on time, since we understand that this is not a minor detail but a very important factor for success.
Interpretit has in placea carefully designed procedure which includes the following stages:
a) finding the right specialized translator for the specific text
b) review preferably by a native speaker of the target language
c) proofreading in order to complete the quality assurance procedure
Our dedicated project management department always makes sure to adhere by contractual requirements and assist you in any possible way.
